QURAN CLASSES

Immerse yourself in Quran reading and memorization

From Abdullah bin Mas’ud RA, the Prophet PBUH said:

​

مَن قَرَأَ حَرْفًا مِنْ كِتَابِ اللَّهِ فَلَهُ بِهِ حَسَنَةٌ ، وَالْحَسَنَةُ بِعَشْرِ أَمْثَالِهَا ، لَا أَقُوْلُ آلم حَرْفٌ ، وَلَكِنْ أَلِفٌ حَرْفٌ وَلَامٌ حَرْفٌ وَمِيْمٌ حَرْفٌ

"[Whoever recites a letter] from Allah's Book, then he receives the reward from it, and the reward of ten the like of it. I do not say that Alif Lam Mim is a letter, but Alif is a letter, Lam is a letter and Mim is a letter."

Available Classes

We provide several types of Quran classes each week for all different stages, from beginner, intermediate to advance level with help from ustadh and ustadhah.

Tajweed Class

In this class, students will be taught Tajweed rules that will help in Quran recitation. Students will also be tested on a regular basis.

Beginner Level

At the beginning of the semester, Qaidah will be implemented by the teacher to assist students. Students will be guided in Quran reading and memorization. They will also be given a tracker card where they can track their own progress.

Intermediate
/Advance Level

Similar to beginner level, students will be guided in Quran reading and memorization. However, students at these levels will also be encouraged to read and memorize Quran together informally at the prayer room. 

For students who are at the stage of memorising, there will be separate weekly revision gatherings in the Prayer Room, where you will be able to read to your peers and consolidate your hifdh (memorizing process of the Holy Quran).

Reading Quran and Praying

Location & Timetable

These sessions will take place in the prayer room on a weekly basis. Day and time are be available on the Tarbiyah timetable.
