Prayer Room

The Heart of Our Islamic Society

The Salah, a pillar of our beautiful deen of Islam , an obligation upon us as Muslims.

Allah is known as Al-Wahab (The Bestower), and Alhamdulillah we have been bestowed with a prayer room.

The prayer room is fitted with good quality Wudhu facilities for both brothers and sisters. This allows both students and members of the surrounding community to pray in congregation, forming not only strong bonds with one another but also  a unified community.

All 5 fardh prayers are prayed in congregation in the prayer room on campus. The specific times can be found at prayer timetable.
The timetable is posted to the ISOC WhatsApp groups as well.

O you who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer.

Surah Al- Baqarah 2:153

Moreover, the prayer room is much more than just a location for prayer.
The prayer room is also home to some
Tarbiyah sessions , Quran Halaqat,  socials, and is central to the blessed month of  Ramadan

It is also a great space to escape from the stresses of everyday life. It is a place where you can find the opportunity to  reconnect with the Qur’an as well as improving your relationship with Allah(SWT) .

You will always find friendly brothers and sisters here in the Prayer Room; InshaAllah

BE SURE TO INTRODUCE YOURSELF!

We are blessed -Alhamdulillah- to have access 24/7 to the prayer room at the heart of the campus, where the five congregational prayers take place, as well as weekly events organised by the ISOC to increase in knowledge. Additionally, to me, the prayer room is a place where I go between lectures, eat or have a rest, and get together with brothers, it literally is my second home. It being the only masjid for the students in and near the campus made me get to know many nice people especially those who attend frequently and then become friends and stay in contact and will remain inshallah.
