What is Charity Week?
Charity Week is a volunteer-led campaign that runs for 2-3 weeks. In this time, volunteers come together to run events and initiatives to raise money for numerous humanitarian projects. These fundraising events include bake sales, henna nights, charity dinners and much more!
Enthusiastic volunteers are the key ingredients to a successful Charity Week. We are always looking for students to join the ISOC family. As part of the volunteers team, you can help encourage generosity in the community and benefit from the barakah of each donation made. Whether it's a child receiving vital medical support or a student on campus being more aware of charity work, you will be rewarded for the people that you impact.
The foundation of our work is Islam and a desire to please Allah. If you pick up a donation bucket, bake a batch of cakes, or tell a friend about the campaign all with the intention of pleasing Allah then the barakah in your efforts is priceless.
This year's Charity Week theme is Islamic History!
